This library of e-learning is designed to be continuously updated to reflect best in practice learning and design
Time Management
The Time Management module provides students with an understanding of how to best schedule their time in order to maximize their effectiveness and success as a student and as an athlete.
Goal-Setting
The Goal-Setting module is designed to help students understand the importance of goal-setting, the characteristics of quality goals and the process of developing and achieving their academic, athletic and professional goals.
Study Skills
Students are provided an overview of critical tactics and disciplines necessary to maximize their study time and assure academic success. Students will be presented with strategies to stay organized, read efficiently, take effective notes, prepare study guides and develop relationships with their professors.
Building a Network / Job Search Skills
The Building a Network module helps students understand the importance of developing a network of contacts and relationships to assist in their attainment of their professional objectives.
Resume Development
The Résumé Development module guides students through the process of developing their résumé with guidance on appropriate formatting and wording is provided.
Interviewing Skills
Students are provided instruction on successful interviewing and follow-up. Basic tools are provided to ensure students are fully prepared to be successful in job interviews.
Transition to the Workforce
Students are provided foundational skills important to disciplined financial management. Strategies are provided for students to effectively manage their money, including building a budget, maintaining a checking account and saving for the long-term. Students are also introduced to the pitfalls of credit cards, credit scores and cost-of-living differentials.
